Food Bowl Hygiene

It is always important to take precautions to ensure both your own and your pet’s health and well-being are taken care of, particularly when it comes to handling their food.

Here are a few tips.

Wash your pet’s bowls daily, be it your dog’s water bowl, cat’s titbit bowl, hamster’s water feeder, or horse’s food trough it is essential that you clean them out daily. Bacteria, mould, and other nasties will begin to grow if they are left unwashed. It is important to give them a regular scrub, more than just a slosh under the tap.

We recommend you spray RenaSan first aid spray on all feed, water, and treat bowls (inside and out) after cleaning to ensure that all germs are killed immediately. As RenaSan is completely safe for your pets, there is no need to rinse, and you can let the bowls and drinking receptacles dry naturally.

Bacteria from your dog, cat and other pet’s mouth will be left behind in their bowl after eating or drinking from it and in time will grow and spread if left unchecked. This not only poses a risk to your pet’s health, but also to that of your family who might touch the bowls. Don’t forget to clean the food scoop if you use one.

Remember RenaSan First Aid Spray:

Kills 99.9999% of germs on contact.

Can be used on your pet, or on soft or hard surfaces.

Is anti-viral and anti-fungal.

Contains no harsh chemicals or alcohols.
