Have used for years.
As it can be used in many situations there is no need to have lots of pots and jars to sort through to find the one to treat a condition, only to find its out of date!

Excellent product. Dogs dont seem to mind this being applied on their paws or faces. Sometimes I could detect a slight smell similar to swimming pool chlorine after spraying, but it didn't last and it doesn't leave any marks. Definitely prefer to use this as a skin antiseptic/antimicrobial rather than something that may cause skin irritation.

Hypochlorous acid (HOCl) is produced naturally in our immune systems (in fact all animals) and is the substance the cells in our bodies use to fight infections and kill invading germs and nasties. In industry it is known as electrolysed water, and is commercially made from water, salt and electricity. Hypochlorous acid is one of the most effective known biocides, killing 99.9999% of bacteria and 99.99% of viruses in seconds! As it contains no harsh chemicals or alcohol it poses no risk to humans or animals and can even be used to kill bacteria in drinking water. An amazing eco product, it is readily biodegradable dissipating to salt & water.

RenaSan Hypochlorous products are safe to use on all mammals (dogs, cats, horses, hamsters etc.), avian (budgies. Parrots, Chickens etc.) & Reptiles (Snakes, lizards, Geckos etc.).

Hypochlorous acid should be stored out of direct sunlight but does not need to be refrigerated, even when opened. It also should not be decanted into any other storage, Hypochlorous acid is light sensitive so is packaged accordingly. As it poses no health and safety concerns, there are no specific storage requirements.
